  • Alberto built a passageway that connects to the home of Pamela and her husband Jorge, allowing him to visit her discreetly while her husband is away.
  • The cheating pair was caught in the act by Jorge himself when he came home earlier than usual.
  • He discovered a hole near their couch which led into a tunnel underneath their home.

Ah, the things that people can do in the name of love. A married bricklayer identified as Alberto was caught having an affair with his neighbor, a married woman. What’s more, her husband also discovered the secret tunnel Alberto built to connect their two houses.

Alberto built a passageway underneath his home in the Tijuana neighborhood of Villas del Prado in Mexico that connects to the home of Pamela and her husband Jorge. This allows Alberto to visit her discreetly while her husband is away at his security job.

The cheating pair was caught in the act by Jorge himself when he came home earlier than usual. He checked under their bed but did not find Alberto in there and then spotted him hiding behind the couch before he disappeared.

Jorge then discovered a hole near their couch which led into a tunnel underneath their home. He climbed down and found a passageway that leads all the way to Alberto’s house.

Pictures released by the media showed that the pictures of the tunnel’s entrance looked well done, which should not be a surprise given Alberto’s profession.

Alberto was said to have pleaded with Jorge to leave because he himself was trying to his his affair from his wife, who was sleeping while the whole thing was happening. But the cheated husband would not have none of it and soon got into a fistfight with his wife’s lover.

The police arrived at the scene and took Alberto away to diffuse the situation.

If you think this is as extreme as it goes, then this one might change your mind. Also in Mexico, a 50-year-old man created a makeshift tunnel to spy on his ex. Cesar Arnoldo Gomez was with Griselda Santillan for 14 years and when they split, he had a hard time getting over her.

So Cesar built the tunnel outside her home in Oriente, Puerto Penasco, in the north-western Mexican state of Sonora. Griselda noticed unusual noise coming from outside her house. She went out to investigate and discovered her ex-lover in the narrow tunnel.

He was later rescued from there after being stuck for more than 24 hours. He was taken to the hospital and got treated for dehydration.
