•Black and white cat uses one of its nine lives by clinging its paw to a tiny strip of fabric

•It fell 30 feet from an upper deck of the Hard Rock Stadium

•Amazing fans saved the cat using an American flag

These days, it’s no longer peculiar to see domestic pets watching games like football, baseball, and basketball with their beloved owners. In this story, a cat in Miami gathered the attention of the football fans after it “swings in the chandelier” like Sia but with a piece of fabric in an upper deck of a Hard Rock Stadium in the middle of a football game during the first quarter of Saturday’s college game between No 22 Miami and Appalachian State.

Meet the black and white feline who is like the main character of a superhero movie fighting for its life at the brink of a perilous aerial incident. Fans are stupefied and amazed by the unexpected event in a football game.  It is still a mystery how it ended up in such a situation as it held its paws strongly to the tiny fabric attached to the upper deck.

In a recent tweet, Craig Cromer, a facilities manager at the University of Miami and season-ticket holder who with his wife Kimberly brings the flag to each home game said:  “They were trying to grab it from above and they couldn’t reach it, but they were scaring it downward,”

So, some people tried to rescue the cat through the upper deck but it was too far and it even slipped.

He further said: “It hung there for a little while with its two front paws, then one paw, then I was like, ‘Oh my goodness, it’s coming soon.'”

In an instant, Mr. Cromer went to the railing and took his American flag and the cat fell into it safely. The crowd was truly jubilant. It was like a homecoming celebration of a world boxer champion. The cat was taken safely by the security workers in the stadium to check it further.

“I don’t know anything about that or what was going on. I only found out about the incident after the game” – was the only reaction statement of the Miami coach Manny Diaz whose football team won the game against Appalachian State.

It was truly once in a lifetime experience to witness such an odd and satisfying event.

“But I’ll tell you if the cat will help us in our red zone offense I’m going to see if we can get give it a scholarship,” said Mr. Cromer.
