“Home Alone” is undoubtedly one of the most popular and must-watch Christmas movies of all time. What made the film even more remarkable was the fantastic acting of the little boy named Macaulay Culkin. Now, Macaulay is 38 years old and he has walked away from acting in 1994 after the divorce of his parents.
So imagine everyone’s joy when Macaulay Culkin reprised his famous role as Kevin McCallister! But this time in an ad, and side-by-side photos of Macaulay in the 1990’s hit and 2018 Google ad show how pretty epic the moment is.
I remember this scene like it was yesterday.
The best part of the 2018 scene is when Macaulay Culkin cracked his back from jumping on the bed. Proof that he has gotten older but still has the same sense of humor.
Ah, yes. The super-famous scene when Kevin screamed after putting an after-shave on his face.
Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see the older Kevin scream this time as he had forgotten to buy a new bottle of after-shave.
I always wondered how this young boy could put up and decorate this Christmas tree so well.
Bigger Kevin, bigger tree.
The mac and cheese looked so majestic, and it bothered me for years that he didn’t even get to taste it.
He finally took a bite of the mac and cheese! Thank you, Google.
Kevin was a little rebel, eating all those unhealthy snacks in one sitting.
The level of detail is unreal.
Couldn’t believe this trick worked.
Still works like a charm.
This pizza guy deserved a bigger tip after what he went through.
I wish they hired the original pizza guy for the ad, though.
The Wet Bandits.
Kevin must watch his back, what if Marv and Harry have Google assistants too?
