Although everyone knows the importance of staying fit, the unfortunate truth is that only a few actually make the effort towards making it a part of their lifestyle. Getting into shape is never easy and requires a lot of sacrifice. That’s why some people who have started hitting the gym and eating healthy eventually decide to stop and go back to their old ways.

The struggle is indeed real for many. As a fitness trainer herself, Cassey Ho perfectly understands that. And turning to her artistic skills, she has decided to draw a series of comics capturing the most common obstacles and discouragement to fitness, particularly those experienced by women.
The social media fitness entrepreneur later shared the comic among her online followers and it just went viral from there.

In a BoredPanda feature, we learn that Cassey “believes that the problem with exercising begins when people do it solely for physical vanity or for creating a sense of worth.”

She further explained that the fitness journey should be focused on improving one’s body above anything else. Plus it’s also important to find enjoyment in the whole process by incorporating things a person is passionate about – such as dancing or running, for example.

Along with that, Casey says social media can be a powerful motivator when utilized the right way.

According to Cassey:

“I realize now that I am not just an instructor at a gym, but that I am a role model and leader in the fitness industry. It is my responsibility to do whatever I can to help people get healthier while feeling confident and happy in their body. If a girl can look in the mirror, can love what she sees while still working hard to be a better version of herself than she was yesterday then I have accomplished my goal.”
