You’ve probably gone through so many kitchen hack videos, all telling you how to do stuff the easier or shorter way possible. Truth be told, some work and some don’t. There’s really no way of knowing unless you give it a try.

Peeling off shells from a hard-boiled egg happens to be one of them. It’s a menial task that can get a bit frustrating especially when part of the shell pricks underneath your fingernails. All the more so if you have to peel a dozen of eggs all at the same time.

Luckily, we’ve found an easier way to get all those shells peeled without the hassle. All you have to do is boil the twelve eggs with 1 teaspoon of baking soda. After the eggs have cooled, place all of them in a large container with a lid that locks them in securely. Shake the container for a good fifteen second after which, you’ll find that the egg shells have fallen off by themselves.
