- LEGO is specifically targeting the adult market by launching the new Botanical Collection this month.
- The sets include the 756-piece Floral Bouquet and the 878-piece Bonsai Tree.
- Each set is sold for $49.99.
Got no time or skill to grow floral plants at home? Well now you have the option of having them in fun, colorful brick form.
The Denmark-based toy company has recently introduced the new LEGO Botanical Collection and it’s looking pretty interesting. As the press release tells us, the collection includes “a number of elements made from plant-based plastic, produced using sustainably sourced sugarcane.”
Not surprisingly, plant-loving adults (as well as longtime Lego enthusiasts) are taking great interest in the new collection because, let’s face it – they look totally adorable! And as people everywhere look for effective ways to destress amid the pandemic, we bet a box or two of Lego can be a great companion.
So far, there are two products in the collection namely the 756-piece Flower Bouquet and the 878-piece Bonsai Tree.
Besides, the LEGO Play Well Study 2020 also explains that 70% of adults are regularly looking for new ways to combat stress and over 80% say play is a good way to relax.
LEGO Group Design Lead Jamie Berard further shared:
“As adults look for new ways to switch off and relax, we’re delighted to be able to help them seek solace from their busy everyday lives as they immerse themselves in creating these beautiful botanical builds. The customizable elements and mindful building experience will hopefully help them express their personality as their creativity blossoms.”
Building these Lego sets from scratch can be quite relaxing.
Both sets from the LEGO Botanical Collection each have a price tag of US$49.99. Interested buyers can go check out Amazon or nearby toy stores.
