There is something about Ines Kuš’ body paint creations that will make you stop, stare, and, well, cringe a bit in fear. Besides, her twisted make up works are the stuff of nightmares!
Hailing from Zagreb, Croatia, the talented artist has recently been making waves online as people took notice of her unique talent. As a result, she now has thousands of followers on her Instagram account.
Ines Kuš loves scaring people – with her make up skills!
In a recent BoredPanda feature, Ines said that she has been a “big fan” of conceptual and surreal art form since she was a college student.
“All my life I had a need to express creativity in different forms of art such as photography, fashion design, and drawing, but in face paint, I found the most joy and fulfillment. My inspiration mostly comes from my environment and the way I feel at the moment/my emotions.”
So why did she eventually focus on body art? The Croatian artist explained it this way:
“What I find most interesting about face paint is that it’s original form (on face and body) it only lasts until you wash it off, so it is kinda ‘fragile’ art form. Also it is very challenging to paint on bumpy canvas such as human face.”
Since then, she’s been attempting to catch “people’s attention with illusion tricks” that are both provocative and bizarre – some of which require her up to 12 hours to finish.” Once you start to paint, there is no way back. You have to finish,” she confessed.
So without further ado, here’s more of Ines Kuš’ “tied up/twisted illusion make up”, as she likes to call it.

LA Times reporter Matt Pearce recently posed this interesting question on Twitter:
26 Illustrations Vividly Show What It’s Like To Suffer Depression
They are beautiful and sad at the same time.
Unlike before, people now are starting to accept depression as a serious mental health issue. This is perhaps due to the growing number of suicides, we hear in the news. Interestingly, an artist who also struggles with said issue found a way to use it to her advantage. Or at least, it is where she gets ideas for her art.
Alice De Ste Croix, or better known as DestinyBlue, is an artist on DeviantArt and she has been posting her work on the platform since 2004. She is widely known for creating vivid and thought-provoking illustrations.
The interesting thing she does with her art is the way she injects emotional stories. Known as “Blue” by her fans, the self-taught artist crafts her masterpieces using Photoshop CS6. Take a dive into DestinyBlue’s imaginations and feel the loneliness she is trying to convey. ...
30 Tattoo Fails That Will Make You Cringe And Say ‘WTF’
They got what they paid for.
Getting a tattoo is a big decision to make. In most cases, the process is not even something that can be done overnight. It takes a good amount of patience, research, and guts. After all, it stays on the skin forever. Unless of course if you plan to have it laser-removed, which is a dumb thing to begin with.
We compiled a list of tattoos that are pretty much a reason for regret. In other words, they look quite messed up. And obviously, they are all worth hiding.
They are either spelled incorrectly or the artist just do not know a thing or two about tattooing. Give a look-see and you will definitely cringe. Well, at least, you know exactly what not to do in the future!...
