  • BlueTwelve Studio has released a teaser of their newest PlayStation 5 game called “Stray”.
  • Stray is a mystery-solving cat lost in the cyber world of a “long-forgotten city”.
  • Stray will be available in 2021, while the PS5 will be released later this year.

Games about animals are common in any version of the PlayStation. However, the PlayStation 5 game called “Stray” has a different kind of level where the player has full control of a mystery-solving cat.

Conceptualized by the BlueTwelve Studio, Stray contains “jaw-dropping” graphics and fascinating story about a cat. The cat’s mission is to escape from a decaying cyber-city. However, before the cat can escape, it needs to unravel all the mystery that envelopes the place.

Love cats and love adventure? You'd want to play this!

Annapura Interactive wrote in its official synopsis:

“Lost, alone, and separated from family, a stray cat must untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten city”.

According to the details we’ve gathered, the gamer will see in the stray cat’s perspective as it interacts with its environment in “playful ways”.

“Be stealthy, nimble, silly, and sometimes as annoying as possible with the strange inhabitants of this foreign world,” added a UNILAD report.

Having full control of the cat, the gamer can explore every neon-lit alley of a forgotten cyber-city. The gamer can also roam around from the ground up to the building and its murky environment. While doing that, there will be some unforeseen threats and the cat should defend itself.

The cat will have its “side-kick” of course. Somewhere along the journey, the furry hero will meet B12, a small flying drone who will help the aimal to solve mysteries and escape different routes.

“Un-fur-tunately”, Stray game will only be available in the market by 2021. This means a few more months of waiting after Sony have official released the PlayStation 5 by the end of 2020.

Something to watch out for

Aside from Stray, there are large number of PS5 games that are set for release this year such as Godfall; DiRT 5; a new Call of Duty; Assassin’s Creed Valhalla; and Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

What’s new with PlayStation 5?

According to reports, the all-digital console will not need any disc. However, for those who still want physical media for their gaming needs, Sony will provide a 4K Ultra HD drive.
