If you haven’t heard of the infamous PPAP, here’s your chance to catch up on this viral trend!


If you haven’t heard it by now, you will soon enough! This viral video is on the verge of being known by anyone who so much as checks their social media account.

This nonsensical 1-minute song has become one of the most viral videos in recent times with more than 4.5 million views on YouTube!

Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen, also known as PPAP, features a Japanese in man in a bright yellow clothes with animal prints singing to a catchy beat. He’s singing (or maybe rapping?) and dancing about apples, pens, and pineapples.

You simply have to watch the video to really appreciate it.

The name of the artist is Piko-taro. He’s a character created by Japanese comedian and DJ Kosaka Daimaou, whose recent success may soon dub him as the next Psy of Gangnam Style fame.

Naturally, the infectious video has spawned numerous remixes and tributes, with people dancing and singing along to Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen’s infectious beat!

Uploaded on YouTube by Hevesh5, this stunning video features her amazing skill of putting 15,000 dominoes (in perfect alignment, no less) and then toppling them off for an impressively beautiful show she calls the “Triple Spiral Dominoes.”

According to Hevesh5, she spent 25 hours spread over 8 days to build the massive structure.

In Japan, There’s a Show Called “Do Not Swallow” And It Sounds Oddly Interesting

Oh, Japan! Are you thinking what I’m thinking?

Ah, Japan! Land of weird and wonderful stuff! Well, what may be weird to us is normal to the Japanese, so that's why their pop culture is a gift that keeps on giving for us who are looking for things that seem strange and unusual.

Now for those who basically live on the internet, it's no secret that Japanese TV shows are very interesting... and that's putting it mildly. I mean, they feature stuff that may not exactly fly on local TV anywhere else in the world. This show right here is an excellent example. It's called "Do Not Swallow" and from the name, you will have a pretty good idea what's in store for the audience.
