If you’re getting thousands of likes and hundreds of matches on Tinder, we’re guessing you’re extremely attractive. Either that or you’ve used Snapchat’s new filter!
We’re sure you’ve already seen or you may have even used it yourself by now. Snapchat’s cool new filter instantly turns you into a guy or a girl. Not surprisingly, the feature has immediately gained popularity among social media netizens.
One guy from Norwich, UK, however, decided to take the fun to a whole new level – by uploading the female version of his photo on Tinder. The result has been hilarious.
Jake Askew thought he looked “unreal” on his filtered pic. Eventually, he decided to have a little funny experiment by using it for a Tinder profile – and numerous men have since shown interest.
In a LadBible report, we learn that Jake’s photo has attracted over 1,600 likes plus 300 to 400 matches on the said dating app.
He told the site:
“To be fair I looked at myself with the Snapchat filter on and thought I looked unreal, showed my mate and we thought we’d make a Tinder just to see if I’d get any matches from it… Obviously didn’t expect to be liked by over 1600 thirsty lads.”
And yes, he’s been receiving a lot of strange messages for ‘Jess.’
“One chap asked ‘Are you a piece of art because I want to nail you up against the wall’. Another talked to me about his ‘pork sword’ and one bloke simply asked me to ‘sit on his face’.
“I didn’t let anyone know about it, I’ll keep em guessing.”
The student from University of Derby later shared about the entire experience on Twitter, writing:
“So rather than going out, me & SJ decided to see how far Jess could go on tinder.. within an hour I was the most popular girl in Derby.”
Let this be a warning for everyone, folks. Not everything you see online is real!
