Stray Dog Pulls a Woman Out of a Wrecked Car and Drags Her 100 Feet to Get Help

Shannon Lorio had a bad day. She had a huge argument with her husband so she decided to leave the house and go for a drive. Out of anger, she drove too fast along the winding and curvy roads of her hometown in Pavo, South Georgia.

But then she lost control of the wheel and she fishtailed down a curve. Bloodied and severely hurt, Shannon lay in her wrecked car, worried and scared that nobody would be able to notice her or her car from where she landed.

The next thing she knew, a dog, which she hadn’t even seen before, started licking her bloodied face. Then this dog pulled her out of the car and dragged her approximately 100 feet back to the edge of the road! Shannon wrapped her arms around the dog’s neck and tried to pull herself up, and that’s when she saw a passing vehicle, which she flagged down before she lost consciousness.

Shannon would have never survived the car crash if it weren’t for the remarkable, stray dog, who was aptly named Hero, don’t you think?
