Perhaps you’ve heard of certain places that have become popular not because a lot of people have visited them, but because NO ONE is actually allowed to set foot in them. Of course, it’s human nature to get curious about things that are forbidden to us and the more these places are being talked about, the more we want to get there.
But we don’t always get what we want so we have to make do with pictures and other bits of information that we can get to satisfy our curiosity.
So here are some of the places on this planet that no one is allowed to visit.
#1. Snake Island in Brazil
Located off the coast of Sao Paolo is Ilha da Queimada Grande, also known as Snake Island. It’s the only place in the world where you can find the golden lancehead viper which is among the 4,000 species of the deadliest snakes on Earth. The serpent’s venom can eat flesh and tissue and the snake itself has a mortality rate of 7% without treatment and 3% with treatment. Understandably, the Brazilian government has banned people from going to this island.
