Child abuse in the Catholic Church has been the focal issues that remained unanswered. Though discussions were made regarding it, no concrete actions were handed down to those Church leaders who have done such immoral and horrible actions. With Pope Francis’ time, he ordered Church’s officials to create a Vatican law against sexual abuse of children and to establish a committee to obliterate these abuses. Now, we will be seeing concrete manifestation of justice and love.

Pope Franchise simply stated that “War, never again. Violence never leads to peace, war leads to war, violence leads to violence.” Hopefully, these words will inspire everyone to stop the war.

Regardless of our religions, we have one commonality that could unite us all. In one form or another, we all believe in one God. We believe in the existence of a supreme being who is the creator of all things. With this, Pope Francis gave respect to the end of Ramadan. He encouraged the Christians and Muslims to respect one another and work together for the betterment of the world.

Pope Francis was known for being fond of children. Whenever there was a chance, he would always find time to kiss and embrace them. One distinct occurrence was during the Year of Faith Celebrations, the Pope refused to take away a child who ran and hugged him on stage. He even offered his chair to the child while he gave his speech to a crowd. That is how a real father should be!

Pope Francis was afraid to get silly. These newlyweds, who are volunteer at an Italian charity, uses humor to help sick children. Pope Francis happily joined in the merriment by donning a clown nose. That’s got to be a Papal first, right?

Pope Francis despised the Church’s lavish spending. When a German Bishop named Franz-Peter Tebartz-van Elst alledgely spent US$42.7 million on a house renovation (with US$475,000 for walk-in closets and a US$20,000 bathtub), Pope Francis suspended him. And then sent him to a monastery. And now they’re thinking about turning his lavish residence into a soup kitchen to feed poor people. Awesome.
