Imagine yourself 90 years old on a porch in a rocking chair looking back on your life. Got that image? Good! Now let me tell you. Study show that the biggest regret from elderly people on their deathbed is not what they did.. its what they didn’t do. The risks they never attempt. How sad would it be to get to the end of your life and realized you never truly lived.

This is your life. Nobody-else’s. No matter how much your society, your parents, your friends want you to live the way they want to live.. YOU RUN THE SHOW.

When you shut your eyes and go to sleep at night the entire world seizes to exist. And when you wake up its born again.

This is your life. You’re in control. You gotta do what feels right in your heart. Now go back to the rocking chair and think what would your future self say about the ideas you never created, your books you never wrote, the words you never spoke. ’cause you were tired, you were scared or you wanted to fit in and be cool.

But greatness ain’t about being cool, a great man or woman will never fit in coz they stand out. But I get it, you want it easy. But if greatness was easy you would see a lot of successful people and lot of great people. Astronauts, professional athletes or superheroes. But you don’t. You see lot of people with big mouth making excuses on Facebook trying to get likes but they don’t even like themselves.

See the difference between winners and losers is persistence and a talent needs persistence. My teacher told me about the bamboo tree. After planting the seed it takes five years to breakthrough the ground, that five years of attention, care and water everyday. If you miss a day it dies, right there. But once it breaks through the ground, after those five years, within five weeks it grows 90 feet tall. So your journey isn’t gonna be easy, its gonna take time.

When you have a dream, people gonna laugh coz they wont see what you see. They’ll say, what is that idiot doing? Watering the ground. They are incapable of seeing the plant that’s planted inside of you. They have sight but no vision. Only you have the vision. So let them laugh. They’ll say be real… be realistic. But realism is often an excuse for pessimism and you can’t let other people’s opinion define the reality. So let them laugh.

But I guarantee, you wont find one successful person in history that people didn’t laugh at. So stop worrying about your reputation coz your reputation let people think about you. You characters who you are.

Make the commitment.. wholeheartedly. Stop thinking. JUST DO IT. Do it for you. The real you coz you deserve it. You don’t get to do-over your life. So Live your DREAMS.

You don’t gotta be great to start it but you gotta get started to be great.
