In the fast-paced world we are living today, people need a break sometimes, especially those who are extremely hardworking. Although we have goals set in place, and we need to achieve that by working nonstop, it is not a sin to take a breather. Because taking a rest can reset ourselves and renew our energies so we can face the future with a more enthusiastic perspective.
In a show called Prank It Forward, the crew acknowledges the efforts of kind and hardworking people in a very extravagant way. Meet Cara Simmons, a housekeeper who has been working so vigorously for her three children. As a single mom, all she does is to find jobs so she could make ends meet. Prank It Forward discovered her story and amicable attitude that they decided to prank her into a whole day of pampering — from asking her to taste-test fancy food like truffle, steak, and edible gold to allowing her to fit expensive clothes and shoes. What she doesn’t know is that there is a huge and even better surprise awaiting her in the end.
Watch the video here:
We were moved to see how humble she was during the entire time. Her good deeds have certainly paid off and her kids are very lucky to have her as a mom. She truly got that much-deserved break and rewards! What do you think of this story? Let us know in the comment box below and share this post with your family and friends, too!
Boy With Liver Disease Asked For a Duet With Toby Keith. He Agreed, and It Was Touching!
Wish granted and hearts moved!
Being a musical artist gives one a chance to use influence and popularity to advocate what they believe in. Whilst some just care about making lots of cash, we salute those who write and sing songs with a deeper meaning. This is because people would not only have something to entertain them, but also have something to regard as an inspiration for betterment.
Take Toby Keith's 2003 song, "American Soldier," which is about a soldier who is about to be deployed for duty. Keith did not only write and produce a record out of the song, he flew all the way to Afghanistan in 2009 to sing the song for the US soldiers assigned there. That is how much he salutes the military.
Trevor Scott is a big fan of Keith; he may have felt the genuineness of the song because he loves it as well. During one of Keith's performances in Cleveland, Ohio, The Make-A-Wish Foundation helped the 10-year-old boy meet Keith backstage. He then asked the artist if they could perform the song, "American Soldier" on stage. Of course, the country singer found it hard to refuse and so they had a duet during that night. It was so nice of him to grant the boy's wish!...
