Unlike most girls her age, Phetjee Jaa O. Mee Khun isn’t in to fashion or makeups.

The 13-year-old girl from Chonburi Province of Thailand is into boys. Fighting boys through Muay Thai to be exact.

The badass girl started practising the combat sports when she was 7. Because of hard work, dedication, and talent, Mee Khun became one of the most fearsome fighters not only among girls her age but boys too.

At an early age, Mee Khun knew she was destined to be a fighter.

Unbelievably, Mee Khun had competed with more than 20 girls and 70 boys at the age of 10.

However, Mee Khun’s career was stalled when the Thai athletic commission imposed a pre-existing rule preventing inter-gender fights from being broadcasted on TV in 2013.

As a result, Mee Khun was banned from fighting boys holding her back from becoming an ultimate female fighter.

Girls her age, on the other hand, refuse to fight her. This left Mee Khun without a choice but to compete with female fighters in heavier weight classes.

“If anyone is capable of cracking the glass ceiling of female muay thai in Thailand, it’s Phetjee Jaa,” said Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu, one of the best Muay Thai fighters in history.

“She fights unlike any other girl and she’s only 13 years old.”
