Anti-Masker Handcuffed After Asking Police “What Are You Going To Do, Arrest Me?”

A woman who refused to wear a mask while in a bank ended up getting handcuffed. Terry Lynn Wright, who is 65 years old, insisted she has the right not to wear a mask despite being told by a police officer to either wear one or leave.

According to reports, the incident happened in a Bank of America in Galveston, Texas. Wright went there to make a withdrawal but openly defied the mask policy. Staff members requested that she comply but when she repeatedly refused, the management got in touch with the local law enforcers. The police officer’s body cam shows us what happened afterwards.

“The law says I don’t have to wear mask,” Wright declared.

The officer took time to explain that businesses have the right to refuse customers who wouldn’t wear masks within their premises.

In the video, the cop can be heard saying, “Ma’am, listen, we can do this the easy way or the hard way.” Wright replied, “What are you going to do? Arrest me? That’s hilarious.”

“Are you serious?” asked Wright – to which the cop responded “Do I look like I’m kidding?”

The police officer then decided to take action and handcuffed the anti-masker, forcing her to the ground in the process. She accused the officer of “police brutality” but the other customers in the bank just said “no, no it’s not.”
