A YouTuber from the United Kingdom has gotten a lot of attention online after pulling an unexpected food stunt. Matt Davin of South Yorkshire posted a video he called ‘The McDonald’s 365 Challenge’ and it has, quite unsurprisingly, attracted mixed reactions from netizens everywhere.
Apparently, Matt buried a MCDonald’s meal in his friend’s garden on his 39th birthday and the plan was to check it out again a year later. Although he was delayed by two months, he eventually retrieved the food and decided to consume it – in front of a camera.
Posted on the Beeper Beef channel, the stomach-churning video has since gone viral on YouTube.
In the video, we see Matt and his friend Andy Thompson digging up the meal from the ground and then eventually taking it to a nearby McDonald’s store.
“I remember seeing something where someone had preserved a McDonald’s meal for years so I decided to take it a step further and eat it,” Matt remarked.
Are you brave enough to eat a 14-month-old fastfood meal?
While others were simply grossed out about the whole idea, there are also some who expressed admiration to Matt for having the guts to do something so insane.
One of the commenters wrote:
“My stomach is turning for you damn bro. I love big Mac but IDK anymore!”
“There’s no way I could eat that!”
So yes, all in all, we also couldn’t imagine doing this but hey, the video definitely answers a lot of questions for curious viewers. In case you’ve ever wondered how a 14-month-old burger tastes like, here’s your chance to find out.
