  • Canadian girl Rory van Ulft is considered as the “world’s strongest girl.”
  • Only 7 years of age, she can already deadlift 80kg and is making quite a reputation in the sport of weightlifting.
  • Cavan, her dad, says she may even be the “strongest 7-year-old who has ever lived.”

Rory van Ulft is not your typical 7-year-old girl. Despite her tender age, she’s already making a name for herself in the world of sports.

In fact, she’s often labeled by many as the “strongest girl in the world” and rightfully so. Rory has won the USA weightlifting under-11 and under-13s Youth National Champion in the 30 kg category.

This wonder child from Ottawa, Canada stands four feet and can already deadlift 80kg, snatch 32kg and clean and jerk 42kg, as well as squat 61kg.

Cavan, her father, said that Rory’s safety is always their first concern.

He said:

“Her safety is everyone’s top priority. She progresses in her training for both sports carefully and methodically.”

The proud dad even added:

“Based on her current Sinclair total, Rory is not only the strongest seven-year-old in the world. She is likely also the strongest seven-year-old girl or boy who has ever lived, for whom there are verifiable competition results.”

Aside from weightlifting, Rory also loves gymnastics and dedicates at least 9 hours a week for training. Meanwhile, she does weightlifting training 4 hours per week.

“I prefer gymnastics to weightlifting, because in gymnastics I don’t have to lift anything over my head,” admitted Rory. I like getting stronger. Being stronger lets me do more and get better at everything I try.”

Rory also loves rocking temporary tattoos, which she discovered during a Disneyland trip last year.

“I wear tattoos because I like them. I think they are cool,” she said.
