CCTV Captures Woman’s Sweet Gesture For Cold Stray Dog

What would you do if you found an unfortunate animal shivering in the rain? One woman decided to do what she can when she discovered a cold stray dog trying to sleep outside a store. Luckily, a CCTV captured her sweet gesture and people were touched by her simple act of kindness.

The CCTV footage shows the woman stepping out of a cafe in Turkey and stopping when she saw the stray dog. She is already prepared to brave the rain as she opens her umbrella. However, she does not leave right away, still lingering beside the poor pup. Eventually, she removes her scarf, carefully folds the cloth, then gently places it over the shivering pooch.

The heartwarming gesture has since been posted on Facebook and gone viral. People applauded the woman, who has since been identified as Duygu Elma.

Interestingly, the young lady who tried to help the cold stray dog was bemused by her newfound fame. After all, Elma believed that there was nothing remarkable about what she did since it was the right thing to do.

“I couldn’t imagine that my actions would receive this attention. I’m very surprised about it,” Elma said. “The weather was so cold. I just couldn’t take it when I saw him shivering.”

Elma immediately left after covering the stray dog with her scarf.

Elma has not seen the stray dog since their last encounter. Nevertheless, she hopes that her gesture captured on CCTV would inspire people to do what they can to help the homeless dogs in Turkey.
