In the video, Bhumika Patel was the one manning the cash register at the convenience store in Keysville Georgia. Suddenly, a customer entered the store and got a can of soft drinks. He walked towards the cashier and started paying for the item; abruptly he pulled out a gun and pointed it to Bhumika.

Bhumika strongly argued with the thief and fought him with her hands. She tried pulling the gun away from the man and started hitting him; she even grabbed a hammer and tried to run after the robber.

The cashier really did a great job in defending herself and protecting the cash. Luckily, she didn’t get hurt. The robber’s plan failed big time!

Donald Henne, former NYPD detective bureau lieutenant commander said,

“Although you’re lashing out at them and you think you’re doing the right thing, you’re putting innocent people and yourself in harm’s way.

The best thing to do if you are caught in the crossfire is to remain calm and not try to be a hero.”

It’s best to be observant at all times. If you find something suspicious have a presence of mind, never initiate aggression. If you are threatened then comply with the robber’s demand and try to remember all the details so you can report later. One false move can cost a life, so protect yourself and the people around you by being calm and alert.

This “Two-Finger” Test on Female Military Recruits in Indonesia is Totally Outrageous

This is unacceptable.

In this day and age, you would think virginity is not a big deal anymore. Perhaps this is true for a lot of women in Westernized cultures, but it's certainly not applicable to Indonesian women, at least for those who are planning to go into the military. If they fail the "two-finger" test, they can kiss their military career goodbye.

See, before a woman gets accepted into the Indonesian military, she has to subject herself to a test in which a medical professional checks her hymen to see if its still intact. Incredibly, the culture considers a woman's virginity as a sign of her high morals and good mentality. What makes it worse is that the tests are performed by a male physician.

They have to prove their virginity in order to get into the military.
