People who know how to say “I’m sorry” are quite remarkable as not everyone is humble enough to admit that they’re wrong. But what if you’re not wrong?
The truth of the matter is that you don’t have to say sorry for everything that you feel guilty of. Here are nine things to never say “I’m sorry” for.
1. Making yourself a priority.
Making yourself a priority is not a selfish act. Sometimes you have to complete yourself first before helping others.
2. Following your dreams.
Your goal is valid. Pursue it. Don’t let anyone make you feel that you’re not worth it.
3. Making time for yourself.
Having a “me” time is the best gift you’ll ever give yourself. It helps you relax and regain your focus.
4. Who you choose to date.
You have the right to say no. Don’t force yourself to date someone. Always remember to follow your heart.
5. Expressing emotions.
You’re a normal human being with emotions. Cry if you’re sad. Get mad if you’re upset. You have all the right to do so.
6. How you earn your money.
Don’t feel bad if you’re more successful than the person next to you. You’ve worked hard for it. Be proud.
7. Being optimistic.
With all the negativity in the world, it’s refreshing to see someone who is hopeful and confident about the future. Keep it up.
8. What happened in the past.
The things that happened in the past is a part of your being. Accept it, learn from it, and move on.
9. Your choice of food.
People are often being criticized by the food that they eat. But only you can decide what you want and don’t want.
10. Wanting more in your life.
Wanting more in life doesn’t make you overambitious. You just want to have something that can contribute to making your life a lot better. There’s nothing wrong with that.
11. Challenging the mainstream.
Not all people are open to change. However, everyone deserves to live the life they want without feeling bad about it.
12. Your opinions.
Everybody has the right to speak their minds. It is also normal to disagree with other people. The world will never change if we keep our opinions to ourselves because oftentimes, the best ideas come from opinions and viewpoints.
