Jes Hogan, a mother of 6, recently shared her interesting story of how she unexpectedly gave birth to her new baby in the floor of an emergency room hallway. Everything was captured on camera and the pictures eventually went viral.

Apparently, Photographer Tammy Karim of Little Leapling Photography was present during the unusual delivery and took a lot of pictures during the process. According to the Kansas mom, Little Max took his time since she experienced several days of contractions before the actual delivery.

Suddenly, Jes felt the baby was already coming out one day. When she felt it, Jes told her husband Travis:

“Oh god, we’re not going to make it. We are going to have this baby at home.”

They quickly made their way to the hospital and also got in touch with birth photographer Tammy.

Jes shared:

“As we neared the last turn to the hospital I began screaming that baby was coming. Travis honked the horn rapidly as I screamed through the contractions and he pulled quickly into the ER drive.”

The photographer readily took photos upon the couples arrival.

At the time, no staff from the Kansas Emergency Room was around to assist them. Ot was 3 o’clock in the morning.

Said Jes:

“Tammy told the receptionist that I was, in fact, having this baby right now and she needed to hurry and get help. Apparently, she didn’t quite understand the urgency at this exact moment.”

“Oh god, he’s here,” Jes declared.

“I then started to take my pants off because I could feel my body pushing the baby’s head out. I reached down and could feel his head crowning with my hand.”

“I looked at my husband and said, “Travis catch him!”

4 “Without any hesitation, he did just that as I felt my body involuntarily pushing his head the rest of the way out.”

Everything happened so quickly Jes didn’t even make it to the emergency room as she gave birth right at the hallway floor.

Meanwhile, Tammy hurriedly called for nurses to assist while snapping more photos.

It’s a bouncing baby boy!

Baby Max was successfully delivered on the floor.

“It was my craziest birth, but also, the most perfect,” Jes described.

“It was not at all what I had planned, but it ended without any intervention, with a healthy baby, and amazing support people by our sides.”

“It was beautiful and I’ll forever love every memory of it.”

The couple is definitely happy to welcome Baby Max in their growing family.

As for their five girls, well yes, they’re extremely excited for their little brother!
