How To Keep Spiders And Pests Away From Your Home Using A Common Plant
I think I’ve already established in one of my recent posts that I possess an eternal hatred for bugs. The problem, however, is that using an insecticide spray triggers my allergies.
As such, I’m always on the lookout for natural ways to get rid of these annoying creatures. I constantly do some online research to find the most effective solutions to keep my home pest-free.
Well it so happened that I, once again, stumbled upon something helpful on YouTube. It’s been posted several years ago on the said video-sharing site by BulkHerbStore and it’s really interesting. Aside from helping you get rid of spiders and insects, this solution also promises to keep your house mice-free. Wow!
What is this miracle worker, you ask? Well, it’s the good-old peppermint plant.
The video below by BulkHerbStore tells us that peppermint plants can be an all-natural way to get rid of pests.
At one point or another, we may have all used peppermint for calming an upset stomach, taken it as a tea, and many other purposes. Well it turns out that the plant is also a practical deterrent against pests because they couldn’t stand the smell of peppermint.
On the video description, BulkHerbStore wrote:
“Get rid of mice naturally! No mouse traps, or rat poison, just the fresh smell of peppermint.”
Watch the video here and learn how you can use peppermint to keep your home pest-free:
I don’t know about you but I’m definitely trying this one out. Catch you next time then! I’m headed for the store to get myself a peppermint.
