Dad Uses Son To Scrape Snow Off His Car

Having to remove several inches of snow from your car before you head to work or leave to get errands done is one of the worst parts of winter. But one dad took a very different approach to get the task done quickly, efficiently, and most importantly, in the most fun way possible.

In the midst of the recent polar vortex, a resourceful dad found a new way to clear off the family sedan and entertain his son at the same time. A woman said her husband and son went outside to play in the snow in Monclova when she asked him if he could clean off their vehicles — so he did with the help of their son.

In the video, a dad decided to show off how to scrape snow effectively and fin at the same time.

The video was shot by the boy’s mother, who can be heard laughing throughout. She also shared some more details of the impromptu winter fun in the accompanying caption.

She wrote:

“We got a lot of snow in Monclova, Ohio. My husband and son went outside to play in the snow. I asked my husband if he could clean off our vehicles while he was outside.

Next thing I know, my husband is yelling into the house asking if we have any duct tape. I meet him at the door with the tape only to find that he is planning to wrap it around my son’s wrists, ankles, and waist so the snow couldn’t get in.”

The mom then noted that their son “had a blast!”

The young boy is clearly wrapped in layers upon layers of warm clothes. He can be seen with duct tape wrapped around his ankles, wrists, and waist to be sure that no snow could get inside.

“That’s how you clean a car off in the snow!” the dad says as he finishes the job.
