This Guy Got Two Mind-Controlled Robotic Arms. Sounds Unbelievable But It’s Real!
Leslie Baugh, a man from Colorado, lost both his arms 40 years ago due to a freak electrical accident that changed his life forever. After losing his arms, he could no longer perform ordinary tasks that we usually take for granted. But thanks to a bunch of doctors and scientists at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), he was finally given the chance to have a robotic arms he can control with his mind. Leslie has been fitted with the custom-made Modular Prosthetic Limbs (MPL) that interface to his nerves. Leslie Baugh is now considered as the first ever shoulder-level double amputee to have robotic arms that can be controlled by his thoughts.
