We all fight different battles in life.

12-year-old Sparsh Shah of Iselin, New Jersey has a unique struggle. He was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, an incurable disease that affects the bones. Because of this disorder, the boy has extremely brittle bones and so he can’t even walk or run like normal kids. Having this condition means even a strong hand shake can possibly break his bones.

Despite his difficult physical challenges, however, what’s amazing about Sparsh is his strong spirit.

Also, he is incredibly talented. He has a beautiful voice and is likewise a gifted songwriter. He writes not only the words but even the music of his original songs.

Recently, Sparsh caught some love and attention on social media after he posted a video of his own take on “Not Afraid,” an Eminem track. And boy, the kid can actually rap!

On the video description, Sparsh said:

“I feel like “Not Afraid” has been my power song ever since I heard it for the first time and Eminem became my idol in the rap genre. He has inspired me so much with his powerful songs and lyrics (minus curses), and I aspire that one day, I could get to meet him and sing (or rap!) with him. It’s always been my dream to inspire BILLIONS of people one day with my musical talent, and I wish that dream comes true.”

The video was posted on YouTube last January 2, 2016 and has so far been viewed 410,125 views. Frankly, it deserves much, much more than that.

Sparsh, you are an inspiration to many. Eminem, go pay this boy a visit and make him happy!
