The temporary shutdown of all non-essential businesses and establishments given parents more quality time with their kids. In some cases, moms and dads surprisingly discovered how hilarious and crazy their little munchkins are.

We’ve recently been seeing a lot of funny children’s photos and even heartwarming experiences on social media. And netizens are just loving it. Go check out the compilation below:

The Isolation Schedule

Jen Fulwiler, a standup comedian and SiriusXM radio host, shared a photo of the quarantine schedule she created for her six children, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Sounds like a long day for her and the kids?

Well according to Jen, she makes her children wake up at 8 a.m. while she sleeps until 10 a.m. as they enjoy having their “Feral Time” or, as she describes it when “the kids act out Lord of the Flies while I sleep”.

Teach Them What Adulthood Means

Wise mom Stephanie Craig found a way to keep her only child busy while keeping the house tidy at the same time. By using a play-money from Monopoly, the boy can ‘earn’ by cleaning the room and bathroom, sweeping the floor, doing the laundry, and washing the dishes, among others. With his ‘hard-earned cash’, he can later buy ‘time’ for his favorite activities.

“I”m working from home for the next 3 weeks. I have ONE child. Y’all mommas with one child know how bored they can get. During my working hours the store is open. He can buy TV time, Xbox time, and game time. Obviously next week we’ll start a home curriculum in place of school and this will change up a little!,” Craig said.

An Inverse Correlation of Tolerance

A father of few words, @iujohn3 shared a graph on Reddit, showing his level of tolerance between alcohol and his kids during the quarantine period.

“I’m telling you, it is not going good.”

Due to the quarantine, parents are trying out homeschooling their children for the first time and as Candice Hunter Kennedy discovered in her 8-year-old son’s journal, she’s not exactly doing a stellar job at it.

“Y’all I’m dying!!! This is Ben’s journal entry from Monday about our first “homed school” day. That last sentence,” she wrote on her Facebook post.

Let’s Play Dressing-up With Mommy Game

On the 12th day of self-quarantine, novelist Curtis Sittenfeld was asked to by her children to wear her wedding dress.

Day 10 of Quarantine: “I think my kid is up to something”.

I think you guessed it correctly!

Day 6: “Can you hear me breathe?” the 4-year-old kid asked.

A mom working from home shared how her 4-year-old son suddenly popped up from behind her while wearing a superhero suit.

“I know the C-Virus is scary, but try working with a 4-year-old dressed like Spider-Man perched on the kitchen table behind you whispering ‘can you hear me breathe’. Day 6,” she said.

Homeschooling? No problem!

“Maybe I shouldn’t have outsourced my homeschooling,” a parent posted in Reddit. That’s a cute teacher, though!

Mission Accomplished: Keep the kids busy.

Tardius Maximus shared in Reddit that during the first day of lockdown, the kids complained of boredom. What he did was to give them a project by stripping down his old laptop and desktop to pieces and then asking them to rebuild the computers again.

“My god it’s the most peace and quiet I’ve had all week!” Maximus said.

Isolation Gone Wild

Twitter user Clare walked inside their house and found white paint all over the place. The culprit? Her 2-year-old daughter Chloe.

Good thing it was water-based paint and so she was able to clean the floor with vacuum steamer – after four hours!

The kids are started going “feral.”

At least it is easy to clean this cute munchkin!

Kids have so many surprises.

Reddit account user KThingy shared a photo of his son who cut his hair on his own.

“My kiddo cut his hair yesterday, then agreed to let me have a little fun with it before we fixed it,” he wrote.

Looks like they are buying a new TV after the quarantine.

Reddit user Thatoneperson1000 said his son tried to throw a walkie talkie at his brother. Obviously, he missed.

“Day 2 of 6 week break and my kid already broke our T.V.,” the parent said.

… and for Kenz Munson’s case, a new sofa set!
When you stock up on toilet paper and then your kids do this:
She wants the toothpaste more than her electronic gadget.

Reddit user psgenius said she gave her daughter a new and expensive electronic toy, but it seems like she loves the “toofpase” more than her new gadget.

“Day 2 working from home with this little terror,” psgenius wrote.

Daddy Working From Home

Work from home, they said. It will be fun, they said.

Abacus For Tracking Health

Redditor d00110111010 taught her five-year-old and three-year-old daughters on how to track their health with the use of an abacus.

“We have a blast. It’s an ongoing story that I try to fill with some light problem solving and a little critical thinking,” she said.

SOS: “Save me from my kids”

We feel this parent’s pain!
