12 Fascinating Photos of How Foods Grow
During our school days, we have learned a lot about food. We somehow have an idea about how they are processed and/or made. But we never get to see what vegetables, seeds, and fruits, among many others, look like when they are still on the trees or in the field.
Apparently, they are as interesting as anything can get. In fact, you will be surprised at how enlightening some of them. Well, without further ado, here they are!
#12. Sesame Seeds
Who would have thought that they look like beans, right?
#11. Pistachios
Whether you agree or not, this one here looks like an exotic fruit or something. And, oh, the question is: Why are they not green? Am I missing something?
#10. Vanilla Bean
Remember what I told you about enlightenment? This one here is an epitome.
#9. Kiwi
When you are out there, I assume you would not think of these as kiwis. You might even think you are in New Zealand or some kind of fantasy place.
#8. Peanuts
In case you have not noticed it, peanuts have flowers. Surprise, surprise!
#7. Brussels Sprouts
Believe me, they may look weird but these are Brussels sprouts. They somehow look pretty in their natural state, though.
#6. Almonds
Some of them even look stunning. And like peanuts, they, too, have flowers.
#5. Cinnamon
Well, you should have known this before actually. It is a no-brainer.
#4. Cranberries
As pictured, they start looking green before they fully embraced the pink state. They are beautiful. Very beautiful.
#3. Cacao
Oh, yes, that favorite cacao powder of yours came from these.
#2. Saffron
They really stand out. See how they grew to be stunning despite being on the rocks.
#1. Cashews
