A lost GoPro Hero 5 camera containing the owners’ holiday photos has recently been found. A concerned citizen uploaded the photos in a GoPro Hero 5-dedicated Facebook group in the Philippines.

Venico Macatangay took to Facebook to upload the photos hoping that people from the group “GoPro Users Philippines” will be able to help return the action camera to the rightful owners.

According to the person who found the camera, the device was left on a table.

Two of the retrieved photos showed the subjects wearing a life vest.

It can be seen that the tourists went boating.

Macatangay also captioned the photo with “#kawasanfall” and “#cebu”. That said, it is believed that the couple had their vacation in Cebu, Philippines, particularly in Kawasan Falls in Alegria, Cebu when they lost their gadget.

It still remains unclear if the couple in the photos are really the owners. It’s possible that they were part of a group, and the rightful owner was the one taking the photo. Whatever the case, this was a lost item and it should be returned to the owner. When asked for more photos, Macatangay told Elite Readers that there aren’t more of them that are as clear as the ones above.

“There’s no clearer picture than that. Some pictures are taken underwater that’s why it’s hard to recognize.”

People have started to share photos of the tourists hoping that it will eventually reach them. We, Elite Readers, are also doing our part to share the message so it’ll find its way to the owners.

The lost GoPro Hero camera is reminiscent of another story of the same nature. One woman had lost her GoPro, which contained thousands of travel-worthy pictures. Fortunately, a post about her lost item went viral and her camera was eventually returned.

Here’s hoping that this recently found GoPro will be returned.
