Artists have their unique ways of expressing their thoughts and emotions through their artworks. Regardless of their medium and style, their wild imaginations enable them to play with our minds as well.

Mixed media artists, for instance, capture our attention through the use of vivid colors, weird elements, and sometimes, unrealistic scenarios. Despite the odd details, they can convey their message across, and their best works help enlighten our minds.

Some paintings, photographs, or sculptures aren’t always what they seem after all. Often, they reveal certain truths and /or contain several meanings. Our interpretations vary depending on how we perceive one’s work of art.

Igor Morski, a graphic designer, illustrator, and set designer from Poland, recently released a series of haunting and powerful photos using mixed media. The father of two created gripping, surreal images that tackle the “Dark side of the world we live in.”

Aside from addressing human behavior, he focused on some of the most relevant and timely issues in our society today through photo manipulation and 3D art. The results are truly remarkable.

Take a look at some of his artworks and tell us what you see.

“It is my part of the brain responsible for imagination which works the best. On the other hand, you can say that my brain works as humorous surrealist, and everything I see is immediately placed down in my own unique way, adding funny contexts, so that ideas actually come to me almost immediately,” Morski told Sunrise Artists.
