With the summer season just around the corner, you’ll definitely want to hit the beach to refresh and escape the hustle and bustle of life in the city. One of the beach must-haves is a pair of your reliable sandals or flip-flops. However, you may never want to wear them on the beach soon because of this new product.
Introducing – NakeFit! The revolutionary stick-on soles that are perfect for your summer getaway. They’re hypoallergenic and can defy the heat when you walk on the sand. You won’t feel like wearing anything at all and you won’t worry about burning your soles on the scorching sand.
No flip-flops? No problem!
First seen on Kickstarter, a group of Italy-based designers has invented NakeFit to help people walk freely anywhere without the need for sandals or even shoes. You can wear these sleek slip-on on the streets, the pool, the park, the spa, and on the beach.
The designers created NakeFit to be waterproof, anti-slip, anti-cutting, resistant and elastic. There are various sizes for men, women and even babies. You can just put them on and remove them easily.
So many perks!
The designers said:
“We invented Nakefit to keep your feet effectively protected and at the same time support all of the amazing things it can already do.”
The anti-slip feature will help you ensure your kids’ safety especially when they go around running around the pool area. It’s waterproof so they won’t peel off even if you wear them while swimming. It has anti-cut features too, so walking on rocks and extreme hot surfaces will now be easier than ever.
With three colors to choose from…
The group has already exceeded their €20,000 ($23,278) fundraising goal. You can purchase the product before it becomes very popular and expensive. One pack costs about €30 ($34.93) with 10 pairs. They come in three colors – black, blue and pink.

How The Forbidden City Survived 200 Earthquakes
Proof of the genius of traditional Chinese architecture.
The Forbidden City, which is the Chinese imperial palace that started way back from the Ming Dynasty, is one of the most important ancient structures in the world. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. For almost 500 years, The Forbidden City was home to Chinese emperors and their households and was the political center of the country.
Renovations are in progress in preserving the Forbidden City, but considering how OLD the site is, it’s indeed beyond remarkable how the structures within survived the natural elements, most especially earthquakes.
In its 600 years of existence, The Forbidden City has survived 200 devastating earthquakes, including what is considered the deadliest of the 20th century.
Rat vs Crow: The Lightweight Battle of the Century
The amazing fight scene is brought to us by mother nature.
Nature, sometimes, brings most of the best sights to see -- lush forests, sparkling blue waters and weird creatures. Sometimes, it’s in the interaction that happens in nature and it can be iconic.
A video of a crow and a rat battling it out on a soccer field is making the rounds lately, although it has been recorded sometime years ago. It’s amusing to see how the crow tries its best to snag the rat which, on the other hand, somehow put in so much effort not to be taken somewhere to a far off place.
This crow just found this rat to mess with in a soccer field.

Warning: Do not try this at home!
People will do anything just to prove a point. Even if the thing they want to prove just happens to be risky and dangerous to the point of being fatal. One man wanted to share his love of spiders so much, he shot a video of himself fondling one of the world’s most toxic arachnids!
The Guinness Book records the Brazilian Wandering Spider, scientific name Phoneutria fera, as the most venomous spider in the world. Its bite is said to contain the most potent neurotoxin of any other spider.
