You do remember the RompHim, right? The for-men version of the romper, which was pretty much roasted when it started gaining public attention not long ago. Many pointed out the unpracticality of the garment, which doesn’t provide easy access for when nature calls.

Not long after the demise of the RompHim comes the Lace Me Up shorts and shirts for men – breezy see-through tops and bottoms that come in bright, summer-appropriate colors, including yellow, pink, purple, blue, and green. How thoughtful of the designers, right? LA-based brand Hologram City designed the Lace Me Up line, an interesting new addition to men’s very limited fashion choices.

After the RompHim, there’s now the Lace Me Up shorts and shirts.

The lace shirts and shorts are available for pre-sale at $49 apiece and come in standard men’s sizes. The ordered items will be shipped out starting mid-June.

The lace fashion pieces were designed by LA-based brand Hologram City.

According to the Hologram City website:

These shorts are made of all-lace fabric. The design has two side pockets and one in the back. Also 5-inch white metal zipper and clear button closure. The bottom of the shirt has a 1-inch cuff. The waist band has belt loops and 5 inches of elastic in the back for a better waist fit. The shorts is right above the knee and has a slim leg fit.

The breezy pieces come in bright colors – yellow, pink, purple, blue, and green.

Hologram City also sells other unconventional fashion pieces like mesh tank tops, shorts, and hoodies, as well as star-printed jumpsuits, and hoodies with bare mid sections.
