Even if you have seen the “Avengers: Endgame,” there’s a high possibility that you’ve already heard about one of its sweetest moments. And for those who have seen the film, they probably had a good cry over what happened at the end. They may also now be deeply triggered when someone utters the words “I love you 3000.”

“I love you 3000” is quickly becoming a new catchphrase. People felt hard for the line because of what it means and who says it in the film. However, the emotional line’s origins might be holding a particularly cool secret – and one that pays tribute to the history of the entire MCU.

In case you haven’t watched the movie yet, which you should do right now, “I love you 3,000” is a line in the movie spoken by Tony Stark’s daughter Morgan.

The genius, billionaire, playboy, and philanthropist takes pride in the fact that when he tells his daughter he loves her “To the moon and back,” she replies “I love you 3000.” Tony Stark then used that last line in his farewell message to his family.

As it turns out, the number 3000 could actually be significant. Marvel fans took all little details together and discovered that the total running time from the very first film “Iron Man” in 2008 to the latest blockbuster hit “Avengers: Endgame” was 2,867 minutes. Adding the upcoming “Spider-Man: Far from Home” to the list brings the total to 3000 minutes. The franchise has 23 films.

So, “I love you 3000” may also be a code for “I love ALL of the Marvel movies,” right down to the last second.?

Epic.

However, some netizens disagree with this theory and claim that “3,000” is merely an arbitrary number. Marvel has yet to confirm this theory. Although they didn’t say further details about the famous catchphrase, MCU expressed its love back to the fans by saying “We love you 3000.”
