Sometimes unexpected things happen in our life, good and bad.

Have you ever experienced feeling down thinking you’ve done everything you can that made you conclude there’s no more hope left?

Have you ever met a good person who turned the impossible heavy problem to a wonderful blessing?

Here’s a moving story that shows genuine act of kindness of a stranger.

Tracy Orr sold $12,000 worth of property to pay the mortgage company, hoping she can keep her house but unfortunately it wasn’t enough. She couldn’t afford to make payments on her home after she lost her job.

Tracy sadly decided to go to the auction as a final goodbye. She watched her $80,000 house get bid on by strangers but she couldn’t contain the sadness and started crying.

A complete stranger named Marilyn Mock noticed Tracy crying and began to ask her what’s wrong. She asked Tracy if she’s there to buy a house. Tracy explained to her that she was there because her house was foreclosed.

She was weeping while pointing her house in the auction listing. In which Marilyn later asked, “is your home worth it?”

After a few minutes her 4 bedroom house in Pottsboro Texas, was called and went up for sale.

Marilyn Mock successfully bid $30,000 for Orr’s house without asking about the condition and location of it, in the auction brochure there’s even no picture of the house but she bought it to help Tracy.

Tracy Orr said,

“She said, ‘I did this for you. I’m doing this for you,’ When it was all done, I was just in shock.

I thought maybe her and her husband do these types of things to buy them and turn them. She said, ‘No, you just look like you needed a friend.’

All this happened within like 5 minutes. She never even asked me my name. She didn’t ask me my financial situation. She had no idea what the house looked like. She just did it out of the graciousness of her heart, just a ‘Good Samaritan, It’s amazing.”

Marilyn Mock said,

“She was just so sad. You put yourself in their situation and you realize you just got to do something

If it was you, you’d want somebody to stop and help you.”

According to Marilyn, She and Tracy will discuss how Tracy can pay it back to her according to her means as she couldn’t afford to just give the house since she’s using her business dump trucks as collateral for it. What is important is, she was able to help Tracy save her house.
