The ‘Game Of Thrones’ Riverrun Castle Is Looking For New Owners

Would you like to be the Lord of Riverrun?

There is little doubt that the castles featured in Game of Thrones are very impressive structures. Now fans can own the castle that represented Riverrun in the HBO series. The only catch is, you’ll have to share it with a garrison of Freys and perhaps another occasional Tully.

Riverrun is not as prominent on the show as the Red Keep or Casterly Rock. Nevertheless, the castle has its own memorable Game of Thrones moments. In the third season, it stood to watch as Robb Stark beheaded Rickard Karstark for the murder of two Lannister boys. The negotiation between Robb and the Freys also took place in the castle’s main hall. Now you can waltz around the gloomy castle for the hefty sum of $660,000.

A portion of Gosford Castle in Co Armagh, Northern Ireland is currently up for sale for ‘Game of Thrones’ fans.

Only a portion of Gosford Castle is up for sale. Although the estate has been divided into 23 luxury apartments, only six of these apartments are currently available.

The apartments measure about 3,500 square feet and have their own special titles. You can choose between the Great Hall, the Library Wing, the Inner Bailey, the Dining Room House, the Old Keep, and the Round Tower.

Riverrun appeared in the third, fourth and sixth season of ‘Game of Thrones’.

Gosford Castle was last seen in the sixth season of Game of Thrones when Brynden Tully reclaimed it from the Freys and held siege inside the walls. Jaime Lannister famously tried to negotiate with the Blackfish but was turned down.

When Jaime asks why Tully even agreed to speak with him, the Blackfish responded that he had wanted to get a measure of the Kingslayer. Tully throws a final insult by saying he is disappointed.

Jaime Lannister and the Blackfish had a tense exchange outside of Riverrun.

Fans who are hoping to become the new Lord of Riverrun would need to act quickly. There are several inquiries about Gosford Castle and some of these luxury apartments might already be sold. The castle would be a great spot to watch Game of Thrones Season 8, which will premiere in early 2019.

His love for the iconic villain knows no bounds!

Mark Andrew

You might consider yourself a Star Wars fan but believe me, you’re not a bigger fan than this guy. Bill McBride saw the first film as a 6-year-old bot back in 1977 and it completely changed his life. The movie has since been a big influence for him, growing up, as he developed love for science fiction and toy collection.

Fast forward to the present, Bill now holds the world record for owning the world’s biggest Darth Vader collection. As you can see in the photos below, Bill has indeed “embraced” the Dark Side, collecting nothing else but items featuring the iconic villain.

‘Why Darth Vader?’ is undoubtedly the most frequently asked question for Bill McBride.

Maisie Williams Honors ‘Game Of Thrones’ With Most Arya Stark Tattoo Ever

Finally, a girl is no one.

Nobelle Borines

Game of Thrones Season 8 has officially wrapped but Maisie Williams hasn't forgotten about Westeros so quickly. The young actress has once again paid tribute to the HBO series that made her a household name. Not surprisingly, Williams chose to get another tattoo that would make Arya Stark proud.

Maisie Williams has portrayed the youngest Stark daughter since 2011 and there is little doubt that the 21-year-old actress grew up with the role in the past seven years. Williams already got a Game of Thrones tattoo with co-star Sophie Turner two years ago. However, it looks like she got more ink in honor of Arya Stark and the completion of the show's final season.

Williams got her tattoo from New York artist Mr. K, who specializes in micro style tattoos.
