It is always inspiring and refreshing to hear about people making a living from something that they love doing. Besides, few things can be better than the feeling of earning big bucks while enjoying every second of your work.

Case in point, 24-year-old Filipina Aileen Adalid gets paid at least $70,000 to travel the world and blog about it.

When she was 19, she started working in a corporate job after graduating with a business management degree from the De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines. At age 21, however, she decided to quit her Deutsche Bank job to pursue her passion of travelling. She only had about $6,000 in savings at that point.

So Aileen began working freelance, dabbling in web design, graphic design, and online marketing.

Being a freelancer allowed her to have more free time and so she started travelling more often.

This eventually led her to establishing her own lifestyle and travel blog – which now earns her about $5,000 every month.

According to a Business Insider article, she also gets free travel and accommodation, too.

Now a self-confessed, full-time ‘digital nomad,’ Aileen lives a “sustainable travel lifestyle.”

She likewise hopes that, through her website, she can also show others how it is “absolutely possible to create a life of travel despite odds and circumstances.”

Well that’s a pretty awesome achievement for someone only in her mid-20s right?

In case you’re curious about her travels, you can follow her on Instagram or check out her I Am Aileen website.
