Maisie Williams Accidentally Drops Shocking ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 8 Spoilers

The stars of Game of Thrones have been understandably secretive about Season 8. After all, the final season is expected to be the biggest one for the HBO series. However, it looks like Maisie Williams had accidentally revealed a shocking clue to what we can expect in the show this month.

Williams was recently a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote Game of Thrones Season 8. Although the host kept trying to get her to share some details about the final season, the New Mutants actress insisted she isn’t allowed to do so. Interestingly, Williams may have forgotten about her vow not to drop any spoilers when she began talking about her last day on the Game of Thrones set.

Williams initially refused to share anything about the final season.

According to Williams, HBO had strictly warned the Game of Thrones cast about sharing anything.

“I’ve decided to just keep a tight lip on everything. HBO have sent out a lot of memos recently about just saying nothing. So, there’s really nothing I could say, they would absolutely kill me,” Williams said.

Fallon persisted, begging for a crumb and Williams eventually caved in. Here’s what she revealed:

“During shooting, like, the final days were really emotional saying goodbye to all of the cast because when I found out that Arya died in like the second episode I was…”

Wait, what?!

Williams immediately clapped her shaking hands to her face. Although Fallon tried to soothe her for dropping the spoiler, she eventually ran from the stage in fear.

Of course, it was revealed that Williams and Fallon have played a hilarious April Fool’s joke on the audience. Nevertheless, fans are still a bit wary about what could happen in the second episode of Game of Thrones Season 8.

Game of Thrones Season 8 will air on HBO on April 14.
