Heart Vs. Brain Webcomic Perfectly Captures Real Struggle Between Emotion and Logic

Making big decisions in life is never a simple thing. Perhaps one way or another, you’ve probably been advised by a loved one or a friend to just “follow your heart.”

Although often well-intentioned, the fact of the matter is that the counsel is usually easier said than done. Besides, you have a brain that dictates you to use logic from time to time.

“There would always be an endless fight between the heart and the brain,” said Mary Sadek once. “You cannot live with only one of them so you have to use both for your judgments.”

That, right there, is the constant struggle for most of us. Balancing the heart and the brain or knowing when to let one take control over the other can be quite tricky.
