Regular People With Famous Names Pose As Their Celebrity Counterparts
Being a celebrity may have a lot of perks, but making their names exclusive is not one of them. In fact, there are a lot of regular people who share the same name with famous stars.
The celebrities inspired some of the names, but some were just a complete coincidence. Being fascinated by the similarities, photographer Troy Goodall wanted to introduce the faces of the regular people with famous names. He cleverly called the project “Almost Famous.”
Clint Eastwood

Hollywood’s Clint Eastwood is a legendary actor, filmmaker, musician, and political figure. Being known for his Western movies, it’s only fitting that the regular Clint Eastwood (electrician from Pukekohe) was photographed in a desert, riding a horse in his cowboy outfit.

Hollywood’s Julie Roberts is a famous actress and producer. Who could forget her iconic role in “Pretty Woman”? With that said, Troy had the regular Julia Roberts (pizza delivery driver from Tauranga) pose in a movie set.
Michael Jordan

NBA’s Michael Jordan, also known by his initials, MJ, is a former professional basketball player. He is arguably one of the most popular and successful individuals who started his career in the NBA. Naturally, the regular Michael Jordan (web programmer from Keiston) posed in the middle of the basketball court.

International superstar Jackie Chan is a Hong Kong martial artist, actor, film director, producer, stuntman, and singer. The regular Jacky Chan (pharmacist from Ellerslie) get to live as one of the icon’s movie scenes in the shot.
