40 of the Wildest Beards from the 2017 World Beard and Moustache Championships

They say growing a beard makes a guy look much cooler and more badass. Regardless of what the experts say, there’s no denying that rocking the beard has become more acceptable in today’s society.
If you’d look closely in the entertainment industry, for instance, you will find a growing number of bearded A-list actors in Hollywood. Facial hair has indeed reached popularity and acceptance these days – and that’s always a good thing.
Actually, a semi-annual competition celebrating beards and moustaches has been happening since the 1990s. Aptly called the World Beard and Moustache Championships, this contest has “turned growing and grooming into a high-class art form,” according to BoredPanda.
The competition for this year was recently held at Austin, Texas.
Photographer Greg Anderson attended the event and took portraits of the best entries.
Anderson later posted the photos on his social media page and it just immediately attracted a lot of attention. Besides, the entries are extremely wild and colorful!

Which of these entries are your favorites? Mine has got to be #17 for that awesome Sonic the Hedgehog reference. I was a huge fan of that game back in the days.
