Guy Discovered a Mysterious Door in the Floor of His New Apartment
Would you continue living in this apartment?
This guy immediately moved into an apartment in England without checking it first. He was happy to get a good deal on the rent, but didn’t realize the great value he got till he moved in and discovered something pretty amazing yet very creepy at the same time.
Redditor demc7 unexpectedly stumbled into a hauntingly awesome secret room below a mysterious trap door in the lobby of his new studio apartment. Armed with a camera in hand, he bravely investigated the unknown room below his new pad. (Don’t forget to watch his video at the last page of this article.)
Turns out the landlord forgot to mention this one huge secret about the place. As demc7 explained:
“Yesterday, I moved into my studio apartment. It’s in an old English monastery conversion, dates back to the 19th century, I reckon, and now has about 30 apartments. I have a tiny room on the ground floor. Got a great deal on the rent, and didn’t realize how much value I got until I moved in and found an area worthy of any movie-grade exploration.”
Even though it’s an old building, the interior appears modern with fresh paint.
It’s a great place for a bachelor or a young professional.

The place has a pretty nice kitchenette, loft, living room and a fully operational bathroom.
Until he noticed something on the floor just after he moved in.
The floor conceals a secret door that the landlord failed to inform him.
The lease he signed obviously didn’t mentioned anything about this.

When opened, it seems like a normal hidden storage for tools and stuffs.
…until he looked a little closer and noticed this.
Behind the tools was a hidden staircase that leads down to a dark mysterious room.
Only to find what appears like an old "dungeon".

Everything about the room seems creepy
With the help of a friend, they explored further and discovered several 19th century passageways.
The hatches in the corridor seemed abandoned for decades, if not centuries.
One of the hallways leads to an abandoned room with graffiti that suggested someone already explored the place in the past years.
He wanted to explore further, but he felt a little bit scared of living alone.
Is this a bed or a crypt? Creepy but interesting.
OMG, is this a sacrificial altar?

It was quite an exciting but a little creepy discovery for this guy. Whatever is his next move, living in his new apartment would certainly be thrilling, or perhaps a bit scary. If it was me, I’d transform it into an awesome man cave or den. It can also be an ideal place to host some wild dungeon party. What would be your decision if you were him?
