1. Mount Roraima – Venezuela / Brazil / Guyana

Located on the triple border point of Venezuela, Brazil, and Guyana. It is the most famous “tepui” or tabletop mountain in South America. Mada is famous by the novel “ The Lost World”, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

2. Table Mountain – South Africa

It offers an incredible panoramic view of the city of Cape Town, South Africa. The Table mountain also features an unusual cave system formed in sandstone.

3. Autana Tepui – Venezuela

More popularly known as the “Tree of Life,” this formation stands 4,000 feet above the sea level. This natural spectacle is located in the Amazonas state of Venezuela.

4. Ptari Tepui – Venezuela

Venezuela has the most number of “tepuis” or flat summit plateaus in the world. One of them is Ptari Tepui, which has a maximum elevation of 7,900 feet.

5. Ben Bulben – Ireland

Ben Bulben is home to Ireland’s unique plant species. It is a massive rock formation made from shale and limestone. It is believed to be formed during the Ice age.

6. Auyantepui – Venezuela

Called the Devil Mountain by natives, Auyantepui houses Angel Falls, the world’s highest waterfall. It is the most visited tepui in Venezuela.

7. Mount Garfield – USA

Part of the White Mountain range, Mount Garfield is a favorite hiking destination in the state of New Hampshire.

It has a relatively easy trail and offers a grand view of the wilderness surrounding it.

8. Mount Conner – Australia

Mount Conner is a horseshoe-shaped mountain with a stunning flat summit plateau. The native aborigines believe it is the home of the icemen who created the cold weather.

9. Kukenan – Venezuela

One of the view tepuis that boasts of his own waterfall. Kukenan Falls is the second highest after the Angel Falls, which is situated in the nearby Auyantepui.

10. Sarisariñama – Venezuela

The name originated from tales about an evil spirit that eats human flesh. This is one of the most remote areas in Venezuela.
