Ognyan Stefanov’s Skyville

This 1/87th scale utopian village is Stefanov’s first original build and it’s pretty impressive.

Looking closer, one can notice how the artist brilliantly mixed nature with avant-garde architecture in his handmade masterpiece.

According to Stefanov:

“I wanted to create a self-contained utopia where people have everything they need to live, surrounded by greenery and gardens and even a local inn offering traditional hospitality.”

Check out the other photos below to see the amazing details:

The trees and grasses look lifelike.
Even the wooden parts are very realistic.
Stefanov used wooden stirrers, popsicle sticks, and other materials to complete the project.
The miniature village took more than two years to finish, said the artist.
Now here’s a work-in-progress photo.

Quite understandably, people simply couldn’t help but be captivated with Stefanov’s attention to detail – from adding pieces of artworks and furniture inside the rooms, to the attached pipes, to the pulleys and the stairs, to the flowers and plants, to everything else in between.

The Skyville measures 36 x 16 inches and weighs 60 pounds.

Considering this is just his first original build, it’s just exciting to think what else Stefanov can come up with in the future. We’re sure hehas some astonishing project ideas in mind – and we’d definitely want to see them all.
