Kanye West Believe Failed Presidential Campaign ‘Cost Him His Marriage’

According to a source, Kanye’s failed 2020 presidential campaign may have “cost him his marriage.”

It’s no longer a rumor: Kim Kardashian has officially filed for divorce last February 19, Tuesday, after being married to Kanye West in 2014. Meanwhile, the 43-year-old rapper is reportedly “processing things” and thinks his failed 2020 presidential run led her to this decision.

“He’s in that place of ‘if only’,” a source said. “If only I had done this, if only I hadn’t done that.’ He’s processing things. He thinks that the Presidential run was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Before that, there was hope. After that, none. It cost him his marriage.”

During the campaign, Kanye sparked some controversy after saying that they originally wanted to abort North, their first child. According to Kanye, he received a vision that stopped that from happening.

Kanye shared during a campaign rally:

“I remember my girlfriend [now wife, Kim Kardashian] called me screaming and crying … she said, ‘I’m pregnant’ … She said she was a pregnant and for one month, and two months, and three months we talked about her not having this child. She had the pills in her hand.”

He continued:

“I was having the rapper’s lifestyle. I was sitting up in Paris, and I had my leather pants on… and I had my laptop up and I got all of my creative ideas… And the screen went black and white and God said, “if you f*ck with my vision I’m going to fuck with yours.’”
“And I called my wife and she said, we’re gonna have this baby. I said we’re gonna have this child… So even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into the world when I didn’t want to. She stood up and she protected that child… I almost killed my daughter”

The source added that Kim was “furious that he shared something so private.”

The couple have four children together namely 7-year-old North, 4-year-old Saint, 2-year-old Chicago, and 1-year-old Psalm.
