Man Bawls After Finding Out That He Is Going To Be A Dad After 17 Years of Trying

Being blessed with a baby is probably the best thing that could ever happen to married couples. It gives them a life direction, a purpose for living and the ultimate reason for being. Just seeing one’s own flesh and blood bloom into a new life is something inexplicable.

Not all couples are given the chance to be parents. Sometimes, it takes years, countless medical professional consultations and mountains of prayers before some can realize this dream. This is the reason why those who have waited for so long just to have a baby cannot contain their reactions once they are given the good news.

Take Dana and Arkwell as an example. They have been trying to have a baby for 17 long years. Yup, you read that right: 17. Dana has had 4 miscarriages and one stillbirth. Finally, they were blessed with a baby and at the time that the video below was made, she was on her 19th week! Talk about amazing!

In a video published on YouTube last Sept. 25, Dana asked Arkwell to look inside the oven for dinner food, and this is what he found:

Alas! Dinner rolls alongside ultrasound images of their baby boy!

Arkwell’s reaction was extremely priceless. It was so touching, moving and heartwarming in so many ways.

Truly, when one expects a child, no other feeling can ever come close. It is simply surreal.
