Also, did anyone notice how a fetus and a skull flashed onscreen while Chris Watts was watching his neighbor's camera footage?
The new Netflix crime documentary ‘American Murder: The Family Next Door’ has shocked viewers with the gruesome details of how Chris Watts proceeded to kill his pregnant wife Shanann and their two daughters 3-year-old Celeste and 4-year-old Bella in August 2018. Apparently, Chris has been unfaithful to his wife and wanted to start a new with his mistress, prompting him to kill them.
The tragic crime has prompted a lot of reactions among netizens who saw the documentary and now several interesting theories have also started floating on social media.
Case in point, some viewers believe they have spotted a ‘ghost’ in the body cam footage of the police officer who visited the family’s home the day Shanann and the children mysteriously ‘disappeared.’
YouTuber Arthur Cant shared a short clip and wrote in the caption:
“This is captured directly from Netflix around the 6:57 mark into the film. In this clip you can see in the left corner you can clearly see a little girl.”
Other viewers, however, remained unconvinced and pointed out that the child is probably Nickole Atkinson’s young daughter who has been spotted on cam around the time Chris arrived and was greeted by the police officer.
“At 0:07, you hear MOMMY. Then at 00:10, you hear the giggles,” a commenter pointed out.
Some netizens argued the voices may have come from one of the toys in the room.
However, that’s not the end of the eerie occurrences…
Another strange coincidence? A video of a fetus and a skull in a floating oil flashed on the screen after Chris, the police officer and his neighbor Nate Trinastich watched the CCTV footage taken early that morning.
As we all know, Shanann was 15 weeks pregnant and the two poor girls were placed in oil tanks.
Coincidence or not, we say that’s actually pretty creepy.
