After Eight Decades, He is Finally Getting The Missing Half of His Life!

When most of the teenagers nowadays are often tormented what to wear ad who to date at prom, 80-year-old James Drain couldn’t just get into the hype until his granddaughter Joy webb asked her to be her beau at her own first promenade.

For the first time, Drain (a.k.a. Poppa) is finally getting out of his shell to enjoy the perks of a real promenade and also gets to wear his very own tuxedo after nearly eight decades! Of course, it would not be complete if he won’t be getting his own buttoned flower from his dashing date who also happens to be a newbie in the promenade wonderland.

Webb shared,

“My family is everything to me, and I love him so much, and its just really special to me because I know not many people get to do that. And I know he loves me, and I love him, and its just really, really neat and special.”

Joy Webb could have asked anybody else to be her beau in the prom but she asked her 80-year-old Poppa instead.

After eight long decades, finally, James Drain a.k.a Poppa is finally going to his own promenade!

Of course, it would not be complete if he won’t be getting his own buttoned flower from his dashing date who also happens to be a newbie in the promenade wonderland.

She asked, “Will you come to the prom with me and be my beau?”

Poppa happily agreed.

Not only is it Poppa first prom…

… and Joy’s first time to attend the prom….

…but it’s also Poppa’s first time in a tuxedo.
