Have you ever been in a situation when you must feel angry but all you can do is pause, smile, frown a little, act funny, or walk away? That is parenting.
Wikipedia accurately defines parenting or child-rearing as “the process of promoting and supporting the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of a child from infancy to adulthood.” Meanwhile, American psychotherapist Virginia Satir describes it as “the most complicated job in the world.”
As crazy as it sounds, parenting is nothing if not a constant struggle to guide and acknowledge that kids are unique individuals. So, if you are a struggling parent, know that you are not alone in this.
