You Can Earn $66,000 A Year For Discovering New Foods While Traveling Around The World

All your travel, accommodation, and food expenses will be covered, and you even get a 28-day annual leave!

We all want to live in luxury but most of us can barely afford to do so. Although we might not get a fancy car or a majestic mansion anytime soon, there is finally a chance to enjoy good food while traveling around the world. A company in the UK is currently looking for someone who can travel around the world in search of new food. The best part is that all expenses are paid and you can earn up to $66,000 per year.

Vibrant Vegan Co. is a new UK-based food subscription service which works closely with children’s charity War Child to tackle child hunger in war zones across the world. Although the company promotes veganism, you don’t need to be a vegan to work as their “Director of Taste”, a person tasked with traveling the world and trying new foods, before reporting back on their discoveries to the company.

You can get paid to eat good food and travel the world as the ‘Director of Taste’!

Working as the “Director of Taste” certainly sounds like a foodie’s dream come true. Vibrant Vegan is currently looking to hire a lucky candidate who will be paid a salary of £50,000 ($66,000), with all travel, accommodation, and food expenses covered. In addition to that, you get 28 days of annual leave.

So what is expected of the “Director of Taste”? You will need to spend up to four months at a time visiting countries such as India, China, Turkey, Chile, Mexico, and Japan. In these locations, you need to discover new, exotic ingredients, and recipes for the company to incorporate into its products. Just remember that you’ll need to focus on plant-based cuisine while working.

It’s certainly an amazing opportunity so the company has a rigorous interviewing process and has certain requirements. For instance, ideal candidates must have at least three years’ experience in the food business or as a chef. There will also be an in-house taste test that will check your palate.

Although you don’t need to be vegan to get the job, you’ll need to look for vegan cuisine while working.

Iain Burke-Hamilton, founder of Vibrant Vegan Co., explained why they need a “Director of Taste” to travel and discover new foods.

“There are hundreds of ingredients and recipes across the world that haven’t been presented to the UK consumer, so we hope our new recruit will be able to inspire some new and tasty recipes for our vegan ready meal offering.”

If you believe you have what it takes to be the new “Director of Taste” at Vibrant Vegan Co., you may apply here.
